How it works

1

Set up your phone

Prop your phone about 2 meters away on a flat surface or tripod. Portrait mode works best. Make sure your full body fits in frame.

2

Pick an exercise and step back

Choose squat, deadlift, push-up, or another supported move. Confirm the camera angle, then step into position. The session starts when you're fully visible.

3

Lift and get coached in real time

FixMyForm counts your reps, flags form mistakes, and speaks coaching tips while you train. End the session to see your form score and error breakdown.

Supported Exercises

Bench press not supported — when you're lying on a bench, your body isn't visible to a phone on the floor or a shelf.

What is FixMyForm?

FixMyForm is a workout form correction app that turns your phone into a personal trainer. Prop your phone up, pick an exercise, and get real-time feedback on squat depth, deadlift back position, push-up body line, and more — while you train.

How does real-time form correction work?

Set your phone about 2 meters away so your full body is visible. Choose an exercise, confirm the camera angle, and step into position. FixMyForm watches your movement, counts reps, and tells you immediately when your form breaks down — on screen and by voice.

What exercises are supported?

Squat, deadlift, push-up, lunge, bicep curl, and overhead press. Each exercise has specific form checks tuned to that movement. See the Help page for camera placement and form cues for every exercise.

Does it work for bench press?

Not yet. When you're lying on a bench, your body isn't visible to a phone on the floor or a shelf. FixMyForm works best for standing and floor exercises where your full body stays in view.

How should I position my phone?

Prop your phone facing you about 2 meters back, portrait orientation, full body in frame head to toe. The app uses your front (selfie) camera only. Full details are on the Help page.

What feedback will I hear and see?

Each rep is counted automatically. Form errors appear on screen with a clear headline and message. You'll also hear spoken coaching tips. Major errors trigger a short vibration. At the end of a session you get a form score and error breakdown.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account gets 3 free sessions with no credit card required. After that, FixMyForm Pro is $14/month or $99/year.

How much does FixMyForm cost?

$14 per month or $99 per year (about $8.25/month). Start with 3 free sessions to try it before subscribing.

Does my video leave my phone?

No. Your camera feed stays on your device. When coaching tips are generated, only anonymous movement data and the error type are sent — never video, and never tied to your identity in coaching requests.

What do I need to get started?

A phone with a camera, a flat surface or tripod about 2 meters away, and enough space to perform the exercise with your full body visible.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. FixMyForm runs in your mobile browser. Allow camera access when prompted. For the best experience, add it to your home screen.

Can I use it at home or at the gym?

Anywhere you can prop your phone ~2 meters away with a clear view of your body. Home workouts, hotel gyms, and commercial gyms all work as long as you have the space.

Do I need weights?

No. FixMyForm checks your movement pattern, not the load. Bodyweight squats, push-ups, and lunges work just as well as weighted versions for form feedback.

How is my form score calculated?

Form score is the percentage of reps completed without a flagged error. If you do 10 reps and 2 have form issues, your score is 80%.

What if my session won't start?

Step back until your full body is visible from head to toe. Improve lighting, reduce background clutter, and make sure the phone is steady. The session starts automatically once you're fully in frame.
